About Me
Mindi Hansen was a family law litigator handling divorce and custody matters for more than twelve years before transitioning her practice to mediation. She is a Utah State Court-Rostered Master Mediator.
Mindi has been involved in high conflict family law actions since she began working at Hanks & Peterson in 2010. Through this experience, Ms. Hansen has found that mediation can be an effective, less expensive, and less contentious format to resolve these difficult family disputes. When parties choose to go to court to address their family law conflicts, the harm done to those relationships can significantly damage the ability to co-parent effectively. Reaching a resolution through mediation can preserve the ability to co-parent in a business-like relationship, which is most beneficial for the children. Mindi enjoys being able to use her experience to help parties find a creative resolution outside of litigation.
Mindi mediates all types of family law issues (i.e. divorce, modifications, parent-time, custody, financial issues, contempt, etc.), and probate and trust matters.
